Connect2Employment's 2024 Review: Celebrating our Achievements

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible achievements that have defined 2024 for Connect2Employment. From playing a pivotal role in major events to being recognised for our excellence, this year has been one to remember. 

Radio 1’s Big Weekend 

One of the standout moments of 2024 was our role in providing staff for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May. This iconic event brought people together for a weekend of music and celebration, and we were proud to play a part in ensuring its success. Our contribution showcased the talent and dedication of the individuals we support, demonstrating the impact we bring to every project we’re part of. 

Recognised at the British Recruitment Awards 

This year, Commercial Services Group Recruitment Division (formed of a number of brands including Connect2Employment), were honoured to be named finalists in the prestigious British Recruitment Awards for: 

• Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency of the Year 

• Recruitment Campaign of the Year (for our impactful Save for Summer campaign). 

These nominations underscore our commitment to providing innovative recruitment solutions and delivering meaningful results for the communities we serve. 

Celebrating a Rising Star 

We are especially thrilled to announce that Carren Flanagan, our talented Recruitment Trainer, won the Rising Star Award at the British Recruitment Awards. This accolade highlights Carren’s dedication, expertise, and the difference she has made in empowering individuals and strengthening our team.
